How Heartland Intellicare handles information shared through this website.

Enquiry information

When you submit an enquiry, your name, work email, organization, optional role, interests and message are sent to our designated enquiry mailbox so we can respond. Delivery references are retained for operational purposes; enquiry contents are not saved in the delivery log or analytics. Please do not include patient information or confidential medical details.

Verification

A six-character image helps prevent automated submissions. A temporary cookie binds the challenge to your browser. Challenges expire after ten minutes and can be used only once. Requests are rate-limited. Verification images are generated by this website without a third-party CAPTCHA service.

Video and external links

The Vimeo player loads only when you choose to watch the demonstration. Vimeo receives the information needed to deliver the player under its own privacy practices. Fonts and brochure files are served by this website.

Website analytics

We use privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics to improve this site. It is on by default and you can switch it off at any time with the button below. We measure page visits, visible-page engagement time, navigation, video activity, brochure use and enquiry-form milestones. We store a random browser-session identifier, broad browser and operating-system categories, viewport-size group, primary browser language, grouped referring source and a masked network range (IPv4 /16 or IPv6 /48). When a GeoIP database is configured, we also derive approximate country, region and city from the network address before masking it. This does not identify a precise address.

Some of our emails and posts use tracked links. When you follow one, we count the click against the campaign name in the link. No IP address, cookie or identifier is kept with that count. If analytics is on, the campaign name is recorded with your browser session so we can see which messages lead to visits.

We do not collect enquiry field values, full IP addresses, full referring URLs, hardware identifiers or session recordings in analytics. Analytics events are retained for up to 90 days. You can switch analytics off, or back on, using the privacy controls on this page. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, analytics stays off.

Server request measurements

Alongside browser engagement events, we record requests received for website pages, the brochure reader and PDF, and enquiries accepted by our mailer. These records do not create browser sessions or measure clicks, watch time or reading time. They contain the requested resource, time, broad browser/device type, grouped referral source, masked network and approximate location; they contain no form contents or full IP address. Staff exclusions, known-bot filters, explicit analytics opt-outs, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control apply. A non-identifying analytics-choice cookie communicates your preference to the server for up to one year. Resources served from a browser cache may not generate a server request. These records are kept for up to 90 days and reported separately from browser events.

Staff exclusions and visit history

Known staff IP addresses and browsers marked as staff are excluded before analytics events are saved. The staff choice uses a signed, secure cookie for up to one year. Administrators can review a session’s pages and actions, grouped by a temporary browser session, without identifying a person or reading form values. Location is estimated from the connection’s full IP before masking; cities and VPN exit locations can differ between providers. Masked network groups may contain unrelated visitors.
